Trying to get through the thread to see what all people have recommended so far to try to limit repeats and say what i think would be the best possible additions, but I just wanted to say that you have written a very nice little app so far.
Will get back after I have had some more time to play with it. Snake Plissken: Got a smoke? Malloy: The United States is a non-smoking nation! No smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, no women - unless you're married - no foul language, no red meat! Snake Plissken: L |

Edited by: Krispy Dingo on 12/07/2010 16:29:29 I was having issues with all accounts not reloading, both when I clicked the reload and at the application start. Decided to wipe the app and start fresh with the latest version.
Running 16.12, verified in the info.plist in the Package contents.
Now, when I try adding my accounts, it hangs on updating. If I close the preferences window, and go back in, then I see the characters for the account, but when I select them and try to reload they will not appear in the main window.
I verified in ~/Library/Application Support/MacEveApi/ that the folder for my account is being created and that the characters.xml.aspx file is in there as well, but none of the separate folders for the characters are being created.
I restored MacEveApi folder via Time Machine and all is well, and while it is possible that my work network is to blame, I do not have any blocks on my IP address, being part of the 2 man IT staff, and I never have any problems retrieving API information on EVEHq or EVEMon or jEVEAssets or any of the other apps out there. Plus, prior to the upgrade to 16.12, I did not have problems acquiring the initial data.
I will verify when I get home tonight that it is not just my network at work.
Also, with the new version all accounts reload again. _____________________________ http://twitter.com/krispy_dingo http://krispydingo.com |

Verified on home network. Renamed the Application Support folder and the com file in Preferences, started up Mac EVE Tools, added an account and it just sits and spins, does not find my account information. _____________________________ http://twitter.com/krispy_dingo http://krispydingo.com |

Confirming that the issues I mentioned yesterday about updating characters are fixed. Thanks for the quick response Flammard.
Found a little thing this morning.
If I create a single Skill Plan, then try to use the Minus button to delete the single skill plan, it will not Delete. I can right click on it and choose Delete and that works fine.
If I create multiple skill plans, then I can use the Minus button to delete all of them until they are gone.
The release notes mention "Show what this skill enables" but I do not see that available.

The Planner options to import and export a skill plan only show when you are looking at the Skill Planner. _____________________________ http://twitter.com/krispy_dingo http://krispydingo.com |

Thanks for all your hard work on MET, Flammard.
I hope someone comes along and picks up where you left off, continuing the work on the excellent tool you provided to the EVE Mac community. _____________________________ http://twitter.com/krispy_dingo http://krispydingo.com |

@Jumer thanks for picking up the torch on MET, definitely not something that I wanted to see go away.
You kids trying to run EVEMon on your Macs, it won't work any more because EVEMon now requires .NET 4 and that will not work under Wine right now. _____________________________ http://twitter.com/krispydingo http://krispydingo.com |
